Do I need prior experience? add
Some pool maintenance background helps, but it isn't required. We provide free certification training on the EcoSmart system, so motivated newcomers can join — they just start at the entry tier.
How much can I earn? add
Earnings depend on hours worked, your service area and your rating. Active full-time technicians report $2,500+ a week. Part-timers typically earn $800–$1,200 working evenings and weekends.
How is the revenue split? add
You keep 70% of every job — EcoSmart's share is just 30%, and that already covers customer acquisition, dispute support, payment processing and the platform itself. There are no monthly fees, no application fees and no hidden cuts.
Do I need a registered business? add
A simple sole-proprietor (self-employed) registration is enough — no need for a corporation. We provide the EcoSmart certification training for free, so you can start with just your tools and basic paperwork.
